An Inspired Chat with Yadira Rodriguez of San Gabriel Valley

We recently had the chance to connect with Yadira Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Yadira, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Something unexpected that brought me the most joy recently was giving back to my community by volunteering in food drives for the holidays. It was a great experience and met some amazing people. Giving back is good for the soul.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Yadira Rodriguez and I am your local mobile notary in the SGV area. Being a notary, I now realize how often notary’s services are needed, we are in demand, from a simple notarization to a complicated legal document. As a mobile notary I am here to provide great customer experience. I make it easier for you by coming to your home or meeting you wherever works best for you. My best advertising is my clients. I mainly work on referrals, word of mouth and networking. I hope to expand my services in the near future as I make the transition to full time Notary and Loan Signing Agent. I love meeting other notaries helping/ mentoring new notaries.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My husband is my biggest supporter. Without him I don’t think I would have ever taken a leap of faith and start my own notary business. We fully support each other in whatever direction we want to go in life. He sees me with so much admiration and love, he believes in my dreams and goals.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
No matter the set back, know that everything will always work itself out. You have an amazing heart, you deserve to succeed in everything you set your mind to. Anything is achievable.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version and the private version of me are one and the same. As a notary, I get to meet new people all the time. Sometimes clients become friends. My personality is loving, helpful and supportive.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I would hope people would just remember me as a caring person who loved helping others.
