Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Anthony Navarro of Los Angeles

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Anthony Navarro. Check out our conversation below.

Anthony , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me includes overseeing the day-to-day operations, coordinating with the team, managing client communications, and ensuring that projects are on schedule.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tony Navarro I am the dedicated owner of PLS Parking Lot Striping. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, I ensure that every parking lot we service is not only visually appealing but also safe and functional. My business focuses on using high-quality materials and the latest techniques to create clear, durable lines. My passion for helping businesses and communities shine through in every project we take on.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
One moment that really shaped how I see the world in my business is when I faced a major challenge with a particularly difficult parking lot project. It taught me the importance of attention to detail, persistence, and the value of quality service. Overcoming that challenge definitely gave me a new perspective on how to handle obstacles and how to keep striving for excellence in everything we do.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
One of the toughest moments in my business was dealing with a really demanding project that had a lot of unexpected challenges. That experience taught me the value of patience, attention to detail, and the importance of always going the extra mile for quality. It was a tough lesson, but it definitely shaped how I approach everything now.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the toughest moments in my business was dealing with a really demanding project that had a lot of unexpected challenges. It was a tough lesson, but it definitely shaped how I approach everything now.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If immortality were real, what would you build?
If immortality were real, I think I’d build something truly timeless and impactful—maybe a grand library or a knowledge archive that could preserve and share human knowledge for eternity. It would be a place where people could come to learn from the past, find inspiration, and keep growing. It would be like a gift to the future!
