Hi Frank, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
After College in 1982 I moved to California. I had played football in college and boxed as an amateur. I wanted to turn professional boxer so I moved to California and tried it for two years. I realized I was not the toughest and got out of boxing. I have a fight that’s on YouTube today that’s kind of special. I went right into the insurance business and thrived. Started a company InsuranceKO 1996 approximately and grew it helping and serving clients with insurance investments benefits and planning. I grew this company and then sold half of it in May of last year 2024. I was not able to find anyone to help me with Social Security planning. I ventured off and found a resource National Registered Social Security Analyst division and became a RSSA. My business has been to help people plan on optimizing their Social Security and retirement planning so that they do not run out of money in retirement. I have formed a new company after selling half of insuranceKO. The new company is Beacon Financial Pathways our focus there is to help professionals and business owners understand how to grow their business and develop it so they can exiting their business in the future. As I did. The basis is on Matthew 5 verse 14 we are called to be the light of the world and the salt to the world helping and serving people with the gifts and talents that we have. Im married four children 6 grandkids and living the dream life I wanted with my family and serving and helping professionals and business owners to thrive in this economy. Thanks for the opportunity.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No it is not been a smooth ride, I work through all of the changes in the benefit plans as Obamacare was developing and emerging. The struggles with the economy with employees with benefit changes and employer employee problems working long hours long weeks just to make payroll for employees and employers. It was very rewarding to see people grow and thrive.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We help people prepare for Social Security optimization benefit planning retirement planning and optimizing their future income and retirement. We are known for helping people expand on what they have what they’ve done and improve and optimize what they’ve worked on during their lifetime. We are proud to be thought of as a problem solver. We knock out your worries. I think the difference of what sets us apart is our strong faith dedication and commitment to ethical honest service for the clients.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
My view on risk taking is as follows. We have to think about it as CPR, God gives us a command he gives us a promise and we have to take the risk in stepping out in faith for completion. In lots of risk miracles provided, the path to a miracle is always through uncomfortable territory. Also the source of the miracle is always unexpected. Hope that helps.
