Daily Inspiration: Meet Elizabeth Kennedy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Kennedy.

Hi Elizabeth, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I became a motivational speaker because confidence has always come naturally to me, and I realized so many women don’t have that. If you look up what women struggle with the most, it’s confidence and self-worth. That’s a massive problem. I want to be part of the solution and create real change.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it was not a smooth road. Half of the things I talk about—the struggles women deal with—I’ve dealt with myself. I pull a lot of my inspiration from personal experience and from my studies in Kabbalah, which is ancient spiritual wisdom. It’s actually part of my family lineage on my father’s side; my great-grandfather was a well-known Kabbalist. Through my own journey and studies, I realized there was a way to connect confidence, spirituality, and mindset into something digestible and practical for everyday life.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for being a motivational speaker, focusing on female confidence, motivation, and business. But what I’m most proud of is my role as a mother to my son. Professionally, I’m most proud of my TED Talk—it was my opportunity to be completely authentic with my story in a way that could inspire other women, and it really catapulted me into doing even more of the work I do now.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
What was initially considered bad luck was the skincare tool I created. It didn’t turn out the way I expected, and it wasn’t as successful as I had hoped. But it ended up working out because it brought me to where I am today. Having made so many mistakes in business, I’m now able to coach others on how to build successful businesses without repeating the same errors I did.
