Community Highlights: Meet Cameron Cole of Reyzerati

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Cole.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur because of the freedom you can potentially get from it. I started buying and flipping shoes at conventions at 10 yrs old which introduced me to the streetwear culture and I loved it. Fast forward to high school I wanted to get fresh without spending thousands on clothes, so I made my own. When your young, dressing nice feels essential. I’d rather starve and save my lunch money for a new fit. So making clothing was a win/win I made money off of wearing nice clothing. So I combined all my interests; entrepreneurship, streetwear and exploring my creative side.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, it’s never been smooth, the stakes just get higher and the risks get riskier. But that’s the beauty in entrepreneurship; betting on yourself and having faith that God will have favor for you. Another struggle was creating a demand for my products. Scaling made me realize not to chase money but more so, to attract it. So creating a demand is key. But on the other hand, having a high demand, others want to benefit from it. At a point in time a lot of fakes were being made and till this day, fake sites try to sell the clothing so there are also legal battles involved. It’s important to know every level you reach there will be struggles, but at all times you have to keep pushing.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Reyzerati is a brand encouraging exploration which our designs embody. We have a series called “Wrap The Globe” where we show the strengths that exploration can have for the soul. We try to inspire the youth to escape the boundaries the world tries to put you in. Exploring encourages us to look beyond our immediate surroundings, showing us that there is more to life than the narrow boundaries of rivalry and division. The people we meet, the cultures we encounter, and the landscapes we explore all serve as reminders that the world is vast. Exploring has a unique ability to expand the mind and open our eyes to a broader world, one where petty differences between blocks or zip codes seem insignificant in the face of global challenges. By sharing these experiences through our series, we encourage individuals to connect with the world on a deeper level, discovering not only new landscapes but also new parts of themselves.

What matters most to you? Why?
To have a real impact on our community in a positive way. I want to lead others to the light and not the dark. There are so many negative influences on the youth and I just want to be a positive one. Through pieces inspired by exploration, we aim to show stepping outside your comfort zone has the power to shift perspectives, dissolve old grudges, and remind us that life is too short to be consumed by division.
