We’re looking forward to introducing you to Nathalie Dahan . Check out our conversation below.
Hi Nathalie, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
For me, energy and integrity are the most important. Energy because it drives action, persistence, and creativity—without it, even great ideas can stall. Integrity because it builds trust and consistency in everything I do. Together, they create a balance between ambition and authenticity
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My Story
My journey has been one of constant evolution, determination, and starting over with courage. I was born in London, where I was once crowned Miss London, and 25 years ago, I made the bold move to the United States to build a new life and chase new dreams.
When I arrived, I had to start completely from scratch—new country, new career paths, new opportunities. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic, so I explored every avenue that inspired me. I earned my real estate license and aesthetician license, working successfully in both fields before launching my own brand, Bling7.
In 2018, I followed another dream and opened my restaurant, Coco Queen, in West Hollywood. It quickly became a vibrant and beloved spot, but like many businesses, it was forced to close in 2020 due to COVID-19. That time was incredibly challenging—I lost my restaurant, my savings, and even my home. But I refused to give up.
Out of that loss came reinvention once again. I founded Maison Jolie Designs, my interior design company, where I channel my creativity and love for beauty into transforming spaces. I also began studying stock market and cryptocurrency trading, expanding my skills and building new opportunities for the future.
Through every chapter of my life—whether in fashion, beauty, real estate, hospitality, or design—one thing has remained constant: my energy, integrity, and determination to never give up.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was when I was five years old, living in Paris. I invited my neighbor to come and watch me perform—I had created my own little show, pretending I was already a Hollywood star. Even at that young age, I loved expressing myself and dreamed of the big stage. Years later, when I finally made it to Hollywood, I realized it wasn’t quite like the movies—but that early moment taught me something important: the true power comes from believing in yourself and daring to dream, no matter where you are.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, during the COVID-19 pandemic I came very close to giving up. I lost my restaurant, my savings, and had to sell my dream home. On top of that, I was going through a divorce and facing a lawsuit—all at once. It felt like everything I had worked so hard for was falling apart. But in that moment of loss, I made a choice: to rebuild instead of surrender. Starting over wasn’t easy, but it reminded me of my own resilience and the power of never giving up on yourself.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what matters most to me are my kids and my family—they’re my greatest source of love and motivation. And of course, my four poodles, who bring me endless joy and comfort. Family, both human and furry, is truly at the heart of everything I do.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who genuinely loved helping others—kind, loving, and generous. I want to be known for my positivity and for celebrating the success and happiness of those around me. More than anything, I hope my energy and care left a lasting impact on people’s lives and inspired them to be their best selves.
