Story & Lesson Highlights with Sylvia & Santiago Garza of Los Angeles

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Sylvia & Santiago Garza. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Sylvia & Santiago, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
Absolutely. Our spiritual path has taught us again and again that everything unfolds in divine timing. One moment that really stands out is when we were eager to begin hosting live sessions on Insight Timer. At first, we wanted to jump in quickly, but looking back, we’re so grateful we didn’t force it. When we stepped back and trusted the process, everything aligned naturally. The right ideas, the right energy, and the right opportunities showed up exactly when they were meant to. Waiting allowed us to show up with clarity, purpose, and confidence. The experience has been so much more meaningful because of it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Sylvia and Santiago Garza, the husband-and-wife team behind a growing wellness brand rooted in spirituality, sound healing, and the healing power of nature. Together, we create guided meditations, courses, and rituals designed to support emotional healing, inner peace, and energetic alignment.
Our work brings together both of our strengths: Sylvia’s background in integrative health, herbal medicine, meditation teaching, and energy work, and Santiago’s 20+ years of experience in professional audio engineering. His deep skill in creating immersive soundscapes allows our meditations to feel rich, soothing, and truly transportive. In the past year, he has also begun expanding into aromatherapy, adding a layer of sensory support to the experiences we create.
What makes our approach unique is the heart and purpose behind everything we do. We believe healing is sacred, personal, and meant to be accessible. Whether it’s a Healing Circle Ceremony, Pink Light meditation, an energy-clearing ritual, or one of our chakra-balancing live sessions on Insight Timer, our intention is always to help people feel safe, seen, and supported on their journey.
Right now, we’re expanding our meditation library, developing new spiritual courses, and creating more tools for emotional healing and daily ritual. Our mission is simple: to share practices that help people reconnect with themselves, release what no longer serves them, and return to their inner light.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Without question, our relationship with each other has been the greatest influence on how we see ourselves and who we’ve become. Our partnership has been both a mirror and a catalyst, showing us our strengths, illuminating our blind spots, and helping us grow in ways we never would have on our own.

Working side by side in our spiritual and creative work has taught us patience, trust, and humility. It has shown us what it means to truly support another person while also being supported. Through every challenge, breakthrough, and moment of expansion, we’ve learned to see ourselves with more compassion, more courage, and more clarity.
Our relationship has shaped not just how we view ourselves, but how we show up for our community. It’s the foundation that allows us to create from a place of authenticity, love, and shared purpose.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
We reached that turning point when we realized that this journey is so much bigger than our physical selves. Once we understood that our experiences, both the light and the painful parts, were part of a greater purpose, everything shifted. Instead of carrying our pain quietly, we began to see it as a bridge: a way to connect, to serve, and to guide others who might be walking through similar shadows.

Sharing our story, our healing, and our growth openly has become one of the most powerful aspects of our work. By speaking about what we’ve lived through, we’ve watched our pain transform into something meaningful, something that can uplift, comfort, and give people a sense of direction and hope. It’s in those moments of vulnerability that we feel the deepest connection with our community, and it reminds us that none of us are healing alone.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, absolutely. What we share with our community is a true reflection of who we are. Our work is rooted in authenticity, so the energy, vulnerability, compassion, and intention people experience in our live sessions or courses is the same energy we carry in our everyday lives. We’ve learned that alignment means showing up as our whole selves, without masks or performance.
What you see publicly is simply us; it’s our hearts, our healing, our devotion to this path that is offered openly and honestly.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
We’re doing what we came back to this planet to do in this lifetime. Our purpose isn’t something that was handed to us; it’s something our souls agreed to long before we arrived here. We’ve always felt that we returned at this moment in time to be of service, to help others remember their own light, and to guide healing in whatever ways Spirit moves through us.
Our music is a huge part of that calling. The soundscapes we create aren’t just creative expression; they’re transmissions. They come through us, not from us… as if the spirit world uses our hands, our breath, and our hearts as instruments. Every meditation, every Healing Circle, every piece of music is woven with that intention of service.
This isn’t what we were told to do; it really is what we know we came here to do.
