An Inspired Chat with Elysia J

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Elysia J. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Elysia , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Great Question. All three are necessary and so important. However, if I had to choose, I would say integrity. You have nothing without integrity. Truly.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Yes! You can read a bit about my background here. https://divine-light-wisdom.ueniweb.com/profile/elysia

I grew up in the personal growth and development space, I LOVE blending science and spirituality for my students, and I am a huge music and animal lover. I love to travel, I love astrology, learning everything under the sun, and all things healing. Years ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis which completely changed my life, on top of being a child survivor of abuse, so naturally my days and life in general is filled with creating the healthiest life I can for myself, while providing a guiding light for others and the collective as to the best ways to heal, transmute energy, and create safe spaces for yourself and others. My work is and service to others is what keeps me grounded and sane in this crazy world.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
The part of me that has played or stayed small in order to appease others. Unfortunately I was conditioned to be small from several care takers growing up and other authority figures and friends. There were people who showed me love and affection as long as I stayed in a supporting role in my own life, not the spot light. I didn’t mind at the time, because I felt abundant enough internally that I didn’t need the outward validation, however as I grew and expanded, I realized it was not respectful of the bright light and being that I am, especially as I would never ask or require someone to shrink to make me feel better. I believe we all can shine exactly as we are and still hold space for everyone else’s greatness, power, and beauty.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Trust yourself. The feelings you have about your desires AND the feelings you have about others, good or bad, are true. Trust them no matter what any one else tells you. Trust your thoughts, your instincts, and your gut. You can see and feel things on a deeper level that others can’t and one day you will learn how to harness these superpowers and help others heal and transform their lives through your sacred spiritual work. Stay steady and always honor you, young beauty!

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. How do you differentiate between fads and real foundational shifts?
T-I-M-E! Real Foundational shifts are still standing years and DECADES later. That’s the difference. Anyone can fly to the top, or to their goals, but can you stay there? Can you maintain your dreams, goals, and desires? Fads come and go, yet foundational shifts steadily grow over time and are rooted, like a redwood tree.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
As my former family friend Wayne Dyer used to say, don’t die with the music still in you… When I leave this Earth, I want to have left every dream actualized and released to the world before I go.
