Brennan , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My Garden ! If I’m not working , I’m in my backyard vibing.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Brennan “BZ” Houston, my company B.E.Z Enterprise specialize in the management of entities in the hospitality industry. We consider ourselves “ HOSPITALITY CONCIERGE “ your one stop shop.
We offer services ranging from low to high risk Executive Protection for Events , to providing Food & Beverage for all catering needs .
We have high level security for elite clients & catering needs for film, music production, as well as concerts, weddings, festivals , Executive Meetings.
What makes my job so interesting I get to work with so many different creatives, directors , artist , athletes on a daily basis to conquer a bigger picture or goal. Everyday is different , we can be making meal preps for an athlete today , and tomorrow be on security detail . Or the next day have a full working staff on Music or movie set, with chefs & security staff.
We’ve been curating this company for over a decade , to see how far we come to where we’re headed is pretty cool. A lot of highs and lows , but the mission is to keep going, “ grow & go “ .
As we grow, we’ve been able build a healthy network of yacht owners on the California coast from San Diego to Los Angeles . Which we provide Food and Beverage for sunset cruises, with our weather we offer this service 8-10 months out the year , if you want to book sunset Cruise on the California Coast, call me.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My family! I have a lot of family members I was raised amongst musicians, athletes, hustlers, entrepreneurs, trendsetters, engineers, You mix my whole family together & you get a Gumbo pot of ME.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
Music , till this day . Hence why I’m in still in the entertainment industry. I’m an oldies but goodies. Even when I was child there’s nothing like some Down Home Blues!
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Feed our babies, it takes a village to raise children’.
I provide hot meals to 4 shelters for underprivileged children every month and you’d be surprised how many kids I’ve seen hopping out of a back seat of a cars , which they call home to come grab a plate of food. We have to do better by our people in our community.
