Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Mora Que of Long Beach

We recently had the chance to connect with Mora Que and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Mora , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day consists of prayer meditation then checking my emails.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Mora and I rap. Right now Im working on some new music that I can’t wait to share with everyone. My single should be out next month it’s called “Keep Going”

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
There are many things that can break a bond however The bonds between people are both complex and fragile, built on a foundation of trust, communication, and shared experiences. When these elements are compromised, the bonds can weaken or even break entirely. Conversely, restoring them requires a conscious and often difficult effort to rebuild what has been lost.

Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
The last time someone truly listened to me was in couples therapy. That experience has opened and deepened my relationship with my life partner

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
The music industry often perpetuates myths like “talent is enough,” “overnight success is common,” and that signing a major record deal guarantees wealth and fame. The reality is success often hinges on a mix of networking, promotion, and business savvy, with many artists struggling to earn a living even with a large following.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I had 10 years left I would probably stop smoking weed
