We recently had the chance to connect with Venti Views and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Venti , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Honestly, work. I love what I do and I do it all the time.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Cameron Venti aka Venti Views. I’ve shot gold medal olympians like Sydney McLaughlin and Tyler and Tara Woodhall. I study under Peter Hurley who is the best headshot photographer in the world.
I’m also inventing a unique photography backpack that is currently patent pending.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
Peter McKinnon and YouTube
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
That suffering is inevitable but letting it affect you is optional
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Creating my backpack idea. It’s been a struggle to find a brand to work with me on this unique idea. But Edison failed 10000 times inventing the light bulb until he finally succeeded.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
In redwood national forest. Every year I go around new years to reflect on the year and plan for the next year
