Monika Demmler of Los Angeles on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Monika Demmler. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Monika, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Surviving the mental madness around me

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I make music and paint.
I’m a truthfighter against the current streams.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Being brutally honest to each other.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering teaches you that each of us has to carry their own baggage in their lives. No matter if you’re rich or poor. Everyone carries their baggage.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people are not valued in the current society of nihilism.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
Doing great things in my life despite hardships.
