Hi Sofia , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
Yes, I have definitely had moments where I felt grateful for not acting on impulse. On the other hand, those quick impulse choices aren’t always a bad thing as they can lead you to different path or experience. However, I believe in proper planning to achieve the best outcomes.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Sofia Pantazopoulos, I have been in the permanent makeup industry for the past 5 years. My goal is to enhance my clients natural features with cosmetic tattooing. I offer services like microblading, lip blushing, and scalp micropigmentation. I am a natural born artist and working in the cosmetic tattoo industry provides the creative freedom I crave. The foundation of my business is providing a comfortable and safe environment for clients. I am grateful to work in an industry where I can enhance clients natural beauty while building their confidence.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My Yiayia (grandmother) supported my artistic abilities at a young age. She taught me how to sew by hand and machine, crochet, as well as how to embroider. Back in her day, she was a seamstress in a clothing factory. She was not only a talented seamstress, but an amazing cook and teacher. By the age of 11, I was designing ball gowns for Halloween costumes and more. Her wisdom and creativity left a profound influence on my life and has shaped the woman I am today.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could speak to my younger self, I’d say to keep going and don’t be afraid to try. The future may seem uncertain, but growth comes from pushing through those unknowns. While I was always fairly independent, there were times where I second-guessed myself. Looking back, I realize how important it is to trust those instincts. Every risk I took whether it worked out or not has taught me something valuable. I’ve learned that my greatest lessons came through experience, not theory.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I am committed to creating a life of balance. Personally, I believe success isn’t just about reaching milestones, but rather about being present throughout the journey.

Personally yes, I believe giving my best is an act of self respect. I know when I am honoring my values that it will reflect in my outcomes. After five years building my business as a cosmetic tattoo artist, I’ve seen firsthand that the most rewarding moments aren’t always the most celebrated. The real achievement is knowing I’ve shown up fully. While building a business, I know I have given everything I could and created something I’m proud to stand behind.
