We recently had the chance to connect with Milan Tiff and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Milan, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Going to sleep. Theirs is a mysterious strange unexplained phenomenon occurring where people are going to sleep and not returning. They are simply what they call; “ Passing Away “ For example. When someone is having a surgery, they’re told they’re going to be put to sleep and monitored in order to bring them back. If a person truly goes to sleep and there is nothing to bring them back, they could travel so far away in time and not be able to find their way back. Called; “ Passing Away “
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a conceptual artist ( painter ) that socially comments on science, religion, and politics. Oftentimes creating what the eye can’t see and making it visible. For example, you can believe in and see every thing, while believing and looking at nothing.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was born with the polio- cell virus. Osgood- Schlatter disease . Paralyzed and placed in braces. Did not walk correctly until the age of 10. To later develop and become an Olympic Triple Jump World Record Track and Field Hall of Fame athlete.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I don’t know where I came from and don’t know where I’m going. The mind didn’t give us the ability to see the before and after, the beginning or end. That’s the beauty of it.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
The Day and The Night, The Sun and The Moon. It’s before us everyday to witness. But no one knows what it is.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
When I lay down and go to sleep. And return.
