My family’s journey began in Los Angeles, where as a kid, I spent my summer breaks at dry cleaners where my parents worked tirelessly. Their resilience and work ethic left a lasting impression on me, one that shaped my values and aspirations more than I realized at the time.

I was also profoundly inspired by my grandmother, a self-made entrepreneur who built and ran her own business. Driven by a dream to one day start a family business, I pursued a degree in business – hoping it would equip me with all I needed to know to operate a successful business. But what I discovered was that education was just the beginning , the real learning comes from experience and connection. With time, I came to understand my desire to run a small business wasn’t just about entrepreneurship; it was about creating something that could bring people together and serve a community.

About a year ago, my family and I took a leap and acquired a dry cleaning business in Arcadia, a full-circle moment that felt both familiar and exciting. With over 25 years of combined experience in the industry, I knew my parents had the skills, but more importantly, they had the heart to lead the day to day operations. Together, as a family, we seek to create a welcoming space where customers, whether new or returning, feel valued. Even if our interactions with customers are brief, we aim to leave a lasting impression through exceptional service and genuine care for their garments. For us, it’s about building trust, fostering relationships, and contributing positively to the community.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has certainly had its challenges, as any business journey does. During our 4th month of operations, we faced an unexpected setback when the Eaton Fire forced us, along with neighboring businesses, to temporarily pause our services. It was a difficult moment, especially knowing how deeply the surrounding communities were affected. We braced for a slowdown, unsure of how things would unfold.

What happened next was truly humbling. Our existing customers and neighboring communities showed up with incredible support and encouragement. Their kindness reminded us why we do what we do, not just to provide a service, but to be part of something greater. Thanks to their support, we were able to resume operations and continue serving our community. We know there will be more challenges ahead, but we move forward with gratitude and confidence knowing we’re surrounded by a resilient and caring community. The sense of connection and shared purpose makes all the difference.
