Ryn, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m an indie pop music artist, hell bent on making insanely groovy, slightly weird, 100% catchy, and definitely innuendoed music.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a loud, carefree, bold, and blunt child with fire in my eyes. Insecurities and other peoples ideas of who I should be and how I should behave crept in but I make the conscious effort daily to be as true to that wild child I have within. My music is the best way I connect with and honor my inner kid. It’s the temper tantrum my adult self needed!
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Perseverance. It has taught me to show up every day, giving my all and grateful for the day it does pay off. If success is all you know, then you never really earn it.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
Energy is everything! If you’re not completely in love with the art, you’re making, people won’t resonate with it as deeply. That’s why I am beyond excited for my new song, “Unlearn You” to drop on Aug 5th. It really feels like the fullest expression of my creativity with it’s soulful, pop-funk feel and intricate instrumentation. I was heavily involved in the arrangement and design of the tracks various sounds and melodies, working side by side with my incredible producer, Milli2nd, to make this track the best it can be! I cannot wait for it to go out to the world because it truly feels like there is magic in it.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Worrying about numbers! Ultimately, I just wanna make the best art that I can and have the best time doing it. At the end of the day, that’s what will give me satisfaction from life.
