Good morning Pharah, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I am definitely walking a path. I’ve known for a very long time what I would pursue and who I would become.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey guys! My name is Pharah Phitted. I am a singer, songwriter, rapper, lyricist, model and entrepreneur. I have been hustling with music for over 10 years and I just recently started a clothing line called “M3taRoyaL #MRBRAND”.
I’ve performed everywhere from “The Voice” and “American Idol” to headlining Pride events around the country!
Music is my passion, and my most recent release “THE CODEX” is the most unique project I’ve ever done! It has captivated audiences of all ages and now I am releasing “THE CODEX SERIES” to give the supporters a visual interpretation of what the EP is saying. .
I’m a Pittsburgh native, so you know I am a complete STEELERS FAN!
My entire life is music. I see songs in every aspect of my life and to me, everything is an inspiration to create something magnificent!
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe that I needed permission to feel. Permission to speak. Permission to be understood.
Now I am bold, confident and unrelenting. Life has taught me that you have to speak to be heard. Silence solves nothing.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
My fear of shining too brightly; that it would scare off the ones I care for.
I am now realizing that if my light is too bright … put on some shades and sunscreen!
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My belief that I will be one of the greatest musicians in my generation is something that I will never let go of. I will stamp and etch my name in the history books and the world will know who I am. Guaranteed!
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
It takes people a while to understand the codes and secrets behind my lyrics. I always say it will take people 100 years before they are able to truly decode my words and apply them. But for now, I just “got bars”.
