Lexi Bonin shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Lexi, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
Wake up take my dog out, then go on some dog walks then see what going on at night.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Lexi Bonin I’m a Los Angeles concert photographer. I also play bass in two bands ughh and babe ruthless. When I’m not taking photos or thrashing on stage I’m walking dogs. Currently I’m working on a book of pinhole photography. This is a book of connection getting to know someone while taking their picture.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My friends

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
You can make something beautiful out of your own suffering.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I think they would say that I’m just out here trying to make sure they are seen by at least one person

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people are talking about how I made them feel when looking at my photographs
