An Inspired Chat with Jamie Wozny of Hollywood

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jamie Wozny . Check out our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Deep self care.

My life is teaching me this.

I am not automatically energized in the morning so I have to tend to my nervous system with care.

Slow morning.

Easy breathing.

Feeling my body below me.

Looking at the sunrise on my balcony.

Water with Celtic Salt.

A cup of coffee with Elmhurst Vanilla Pistachio milk.

I try not to go down the rabbit hole with my phone.

I want to land on the earth before that.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jamie Wozny, an intuitive healer, writer, and creative guide devoted to helping sensitive souls, lightworkers, and visionaries reconnect with their authentic truth. Through my brand Unapologetically You and my community Divinely Human, I create spaces where people can remember their soul’s wisdom, reclaim their power, and live in alignment with joy, ease, and flow.
What makes my work unique is the way I weave together intuitive guidance, somatic healing, and creative expression with the fierce, heart-centered energy of the Lioness. A big part of my journey and what I guide others into is learning the art of self-honoring: choosing to trust, value, and express the truth of who you are. I help people not only find peace and alignment, but also embrace their unapologetic power; the part of them that longs to roar, to stand tall, and to radiate their truth with courage and grace.

My story is deeply personal: everything I teach has come from walking through my own healing journey of exhaustion, disconnection, and people-pleasing, into a life led by authenticity, soul purpose, and embodied truth. Right now, I’m especially excited about projects that bring this vision to life in new ways, like my upcoming books, creative workshops, and live experiences that blend spirituality, artistry, and healing.

My mission is simple yet powerful: to support people in living unapologetically as who they truly are and to remind them that their unique expression, when rooted in self-honoring, is not only enough, it’s medicine for the world.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
It’s funny. Everyone called me “shy” as a child and as an adult I realized that word just means “one with trauma”. We can be quiet, peaceful or introverted. But shy is a shame filled existence where one is hiding out of fear of rejection, judgement or abandonment. I no longer believe I am, or was, shy. I believe I was afraid without an innocent safe space to let that energy release. I am radiant and vibrant and unique. Sometimes I like to talk, sometimes I like to be.

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
When it was dark and I was afraid I remember as a child always imagining the other part of the world that had the sun at the moment. In my mind, they were awake, having meals at markets, laughing. I never felt alone knowing that even though it was night or dark for me there was sunny, awake Life happening. I felt safer and connected so I could fall back asleep.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The success of my business.

I know that’s a weird word, with no exact measure.

But it’s my thing. It’s why I’m here. And I want to find a grove with it. The thing. The medicine. The beautiful intersection with my own joy and others needs that light us all up.

I am an experimenter in my business and my deep goal is to find success and self honoring at the same time. Most of our world doesn’t live this way. We hear so much about self sacrifice and pushing, proving. I don’t want to be an example of that.

It takes a fierce heart’s devotion.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Living inside the city. I’d rent a home farther out. Closer to the land.

I’d stop any thoughts of self doubt and try and try and try again. I’d share just to share and see where it lands.

I’d stop being afraid of hanging out with friends because no matter what my old trauma says it’s always medicine.

I’d stop dishonoring my truth and worrying so much.
