Hi Yoko, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been working internationally for 30 years in the medical industry as a dental hygienist or dental assistant and dental marketing specialist in Japan, U.K., Netherlands and U.S.

When I see the patients get healthier and more beautiful in their mouth, their smiles become shining. Then I started to wish if I can treat also outside the mouth.

While working in the medical industry, I have studied, trained and provided skincare services for almost 10 years in Japan, London and the Netherlands.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Finding how to be skincare therapist in US. I moved in US 10 months before pandemic. I didn’t have any friend or family in US. I have no one to ask and have no idea where to ask.

Remembering the technical terms in English at beauty school. Because English is not my first language.
