Today we’d like to introduce you to Perry Richardson.
Hi Perry, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business as a social media coach. I was teaching content strategy, growth tips, and how to show up online. But the more I coached, the more I noticed something deeper holding my clients back. It wasn’t the algorithm. It wasn’t the branding. It was their belief. They didn’t feel good enough. They were stuck in overthinking, self-doubt, and burnout trying to prove they had value.
I started feeling disconnected from the work I was doing. I knew I wanted to pivot—but I didn’t know how. I felt lost. Torn between what I built and what I truly wanted to do.
Then one day, during a meditation, the idea hit me like lightning: Start a podcast. Not just any podcast—The Mindset Babe Podcast. A space where I could speak freely, go deep, and help women shift their identity, build confidence, and reclaim their worth. A place where I was free to talk about anything and everything. I transitioned into mindset and self-love coaching.
Today, The Mindset Babe Podcast is now a top-rated podcast in the Mental Health category on Apple Podcast. I help high-achieving women stop doubting themselves, embody their worth, and step into the bold, confident version of themselves they’ve always been capable of becoming.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey wasn’t smooth—far from it. When I decided to pivot from social media coaching into mindset and self-love work, I faced a lot of resistance, both internally and externally. I was already running a successful business. Clients were coming in, money was flowing, and my brand had momentum.
But deep down, it didn’t feel aligned anymore. I knew I wanted to go deeper—to help women shift their beliefs, not just their content strategy.
But the fear of losing everything I built was real. I worried I’d lose my community if I changed niches.
I battled self-doubt constantly—asking myself, “Who am I to do this?” and “What if this new path doesn’t work?”
On top of that, not everyone supported my decision. My family thought I was making a huge mistake.
They told me to stick with what was working and focus on the money, not the passion. That was hard to hear. especially when I was already questioning myself.
But what kept me going was this deep, undeniable pull to help women on a more meaningful level. I knew I couldn’t ignore it. And even though I felt scared and uncertain, I chose to move anyway.
The truth is transformation isn’t glamorous. It’s uncomfortable. It’s messy. But it’s also where your power is born.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I run a mindset and self-love coaching business designed for high-achieving women who look confident on the outside—but secretly struggle with self-doubt, burnout, and feeling “not enough.” I specialize in helping women rewire their self-concept so they stop overthinking, stop proving, and finally own their success with unshakable confidence.
I offer 1:1 coaching, transformational workshops, and The Mindset Babe Podcast—a top-charting show that gives women the tools, truth, and tough love they need to step into their power.
What sets my brand apart is the blend of honesty and depth. I don’t do fluff or surface-level affirmations. I go deep into mindset, identity work, emotional intelligence, and real behavior shifts. My coaching style is bold, blunt, and compassionate. I don’t just tell women what they want to hear—I tell them what they need to hear to grow.
What I’m most proud of is the impact my work has had. I’ve watched women go from hiding and second-guessing themselves to speaking on stages, launching businesses, and creating lives that feel fully aligned. That’s what this is really about—not just feeling better, but becoming who you were always meant to be.
If there’s one thing I want your readers to know about my brand, it’s this: You don’t have to prove your worth. You just have to believe it. And I’m here to help you get there.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the coaching industry growing bigger and more impactful than ever before. As mental health continues to become more normalized and openly discussed, the demand for personal growth, emotional wellness, and mindset support is only going to rise.
We’re in a cultural shift. People are no longer ashamed to say they’re in therapy or working with a coach—they’re proud of it. And with traditional therapy often having long waitlists or limited availability, coaching has become a powerful, accessible option for those who want high-touch support, personal transformation, and real results.
I believe we’ll see more integration between coaching, therapy, and holistic healing practices. We’ll also see more niche coaches emerging, especially in areas like self-concept, identity work, and emotional resilience.
And with the rise of podcasts, digital platforms, and social media, coaching will continue to scale. People don’t just want tips. They want deep shifts, real breakthroughs, and a coach who gets them. That’s what I bring to my brand and what I think the industry will continue to move toward: authenticity, transformation, and real human connection.
The coaching world isn’t a trend. It’s a movement. And it’s only just getting started.
