Meet Dylan Cole of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dylan Cole.

Hi Dylan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was 16, I started my clothing brand, Conflicting Thoughts—originally an edgy streetwear brand meant to turn all my negative thoughts and experiences into something positive. One of my favorite parts of running the brand was making promo videos, so about two years in, I started directing music videos for underground rock artists and posting them on the channel. I was super inspired by the music videos of Linkin Park and Green Day—they really shaped my vision.

Some of my earliest videos were with artists I still work with today, like sace6, Noah Thomas, and BRAYTON. The second video I shot with BRAYTON, The Butterfly Effect, was a game-changer. That project was a turning point, and from there, I officially took on the role of his manager. Since then, we’ve hit over 750,000 streams on Spotify, gone on three tours, dropped six music videos, and accomplished so much more.

As a director, business owner, and creative, I’ve never felt more in my element. My company is really starting to take off—Conflicting Thoughts has grown beyond just clothing; it’s now a clothing brand, music video production company, and artist management team all in one.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely had its ups and downs. My biggest strength was remaining ambitious and creative when times were hard. Anything that is worth it will challenge you.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an Artist Manager and Film/ Music Video Director. My day to day mainly consists of working with my artist BRAYTON as his manager and creative director, and working with the band sace6 as their creative director. I am currently writing this from the road in tour with sace6, playing a few roles at the moment. tour manager, media, merch, and a little driving. I’d say i’m most proud of my evolution of music videos with sace6, and the overall development of BRAYTON. I’d say the thing that sets me apart the most is my ability to play the business role and the creative roll with my team.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memories all consist of time with my little brother and the first best friend I’ve ever had. he is the reason I am who I am today. we grew up playing video games. our favorite was Call of Duty Zombies. I am so happy I got to show him all of those games over the years. when he turned 18, I got us matching Ray Gun tattoos, which is a gun from the zombies games.
