Today we’d like to introduce you to Brodie Lyon.
Hi Brodie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Lyon Health Spa a year ago in Camarillo, CA. After working in Marketing and Advertising and the non profit world for the majority of my career, I wanted to do something different after moving back home to Ventura County. I was recently divorced after 20 years and didn’t desire returning to Finance and Opertions , my previous role for 10 years.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, not it all. Although, I battled identify theft, difficulty finding an assistance/business partner and changing locations a few times, I finally feel like I’m in the right location poised for growth and excited to help others get healthier with Non-Invasive holistic Modalities that provide lasting results at a reasonable cost.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in Reflexology For The Feet. The Feet are a micro map of the entire body. With light ouch and pressure point Reflexology therapy can help relieve chronic pain and inflammation when many other Modalities cannot. Also, I specialize in Infrared and Blue Light Therapies, which are excellent for pain relief, increasing circulation and reducing inflammation. In addition, they are key for helping to stimulate collagen production, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and eveni g out the complexion. Furthermore, Ionic Footbaths are great way to detox the entire body, like dialysis via the feet.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I have had good luck or have been fortunate to have my cousin, Dr. Bessie Jo Tillman, who is an an MD and a Naturopath as an resource and inspiration in starting Lyon Health Spa. She and her husband, Pat, own Tillman Health Spa in Redding, CA.
