Today we’d like to introduce you to Christa.

Christa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
well I have been an esthetician for about 7 years now but I was started my career in retail made way to store manger and wholesale director … but in the back of my mind I have always admired the beauty industry since I started off as make up artist right out of high school.. so I decided I no longer wanted to pursue the retail world I quit my job the next day wasted no time and enrolled in the first esthetician class available @paul Mitchell. The very first class I knew I wanted to own my own business. But I had no idea how. so I started my career from the bottom worked with various companies even small family owned businesses and built up my skills and learned my way around the industry. In Every opportunity I leaned what I wanted and what I didn’t want in my own business so i started growing my clients and went on my way and open the wax room la with it’s a boutique style way

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes owning a business is a roller coaster I like to say.. there’s good and bad in everything but as long as you know even if you fail you leaned a lesson and that will only leave room for you to improve. oh and always celebrate the little victories that can go along way

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in full body waxing, lash lift, brow lamination and skin brightening. But it’s more then that it comes with a lot of trust considering one of my top services is Brazilians and with that it takes a certain level of comfort for someone to trust me and know everything is going to fine .if that makes sense
But What I am most proud of is how my clients leave feeling their best
When you walk in from I want my clients to feel the serene atmosphere to personalize care. Everyone is curated to elevate your self care and I like to create an memorable escape from the everyday

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was very shy growing up, I mean yes I had friends but I was still shy when I first meet people. I didn’t really do any extra activities in high school didn’t have the best grades..I barely graduated actually.. and the most part was alone in my spare time . Kept to myself alot
