Today we’d like to introduce you to Mandy Corrente.
Hi Mandy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I’m Mandy Corrente, and I’ve been singing and dancing since I could walk! I recorded my very first song when I was just 5 years old, and ever since then, I knew music was something I wanted to do forever.
It all started with fun videos at home and small performances, but things started to grow fast. I began releasing my own original songs, performing on big stages, and even got invited to TV shows like The Ellen Show! That moment made me feel like dreams really do come true if you work hard and believe in yourself.
Now I’m 11, and I’ve released more than 25 songs! I write, sing, dance, and I’ve even started acting too. My music is all about having fun, feeling confident, and spreading good energy. Every day I keep learning, creating, and sharing my journey with other kids like me who dream big.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I’ve learned that every challenge helps me grow. I don’t really get nervous before performing—I actually love being on stage! But it can still be tough sometimes to balance everything, like school, dance classes, recording sessions, and social media all at once.
There have been moments when things didn’t go exactly as planned—like a video that didn’t get much attention or a performance that got canceled—but I always try to stay positive and keep working hard. I believe that if you stay focused, kind, and true to yourself, everything happens at the right time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a singer, dancer, and actress—and I absolutely love performing! I create fun, energetic music that kids and families can enjoy together. I also make music videos, perform live, and share a lot of my personality on social media. I think what sets me apart is that I truly love every part of what I do—being on stage, recording songs, coming up with video ideas, and just connecting with people through music and dance.
I’m most proud of how far I’ve come at such a young age. I’ve released over 25 original songs, performed in amazing places like The Ellen Show and Premios Juventud, and worked with super talented people. But what makes me the happiest is when I get messages from other kids who say I inspire them to sing, dance, or follow their dreams. That’s the best part of all.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something surprising that most people might not know about me is that I love to read! I can get lost in a good book for hours—especially adventure or mystery stories. I also really love being outside. I’m definitely an outdoorsy person! Whether it’s riding my bike, going to the beach, or just playing with my dog Tina in the backyard, I’m happiest when I get to move around and enjoy nature.
People usually see me all dressed up performing, but when I’m off stage, I’m just a girl who loves books, sunshine, and having fun outside.
