Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Little.
Hi Lauren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been a winding road, marked the lowest of the lows all while living a life of gratitude and beautiful new chapters. I started my breathwork journey 5 years ago at a period of time which I lost was the lowest I had seen. For years, I navigated the complexities of mental health, the profound grief of losing my mother to alcoholism and then experiencing a series of rapid family deaths, all while stepping into the beautiful chaos of motherhood. It was in the midst of this intense period that I discovered the profound power of my own breath not just personally but the power to help others with it. I went on a deep journey of breathing daily, discovering old traumas and wounds that were uncomfortable to face, and healing in a way i didn’t even know i needed.
I went on to get a breathwork certification for 1:1, group sessions, and couple sessions in 2020, as i deepened my passion for the power of breathwork and the chances i saw for myself, I took one step further and became HypnoBreathwork certified in May of 2022 three days after my mother had passed by one of the most influencial people in my life during this journey, Francesca Simpa. From my first breathwork session with her, through every obstacle and every celebration, she continues to push me and believe in me sometimes more than I can see myself.
Since then i have built a 6 figure business, have supported over 1000 people, in just last year i held 19 in person events in the greater los angeles area, introduced 357 new people to hypnobreathwork and had 127 virtual and 1:1 sessions. I believe there is such power in community and a believer that everyone deserves to be seen and heard.
Coming from a background deeply rooted in the fitness world, I understood the connection between body and mind, but it wasn’t until I consciously explored breathwork that I truly grasped its capacity to heal and rewire. It became my anchor during what felt like unnavigable storms, offering glimmers of hope and reigniting a sense of purpose when I felt utterly lost.
This personal transformation ignited a fire within me. I felt a deep calling to share this healing modality with others. So, while seven months pregnant, I took a leap of faith, leaving a stable career to launch Flow with Lo, my private coaching practice centered around HypnoBreathwork. I poured my heart into guiding individuals through deep healing journeys, witnessing incredible transformations as they unearthed their own inner strength.
More recently, recognizing the unique needs and experiences of mothers – a journey I was navigating myself as a mom of two littles 1 year old girl, 3 year old boy – I co-founded the Wellness Mom Club. This community an indescrible space where moms can prioritize their well-being without guilt, move their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and find the support they deserve. From what started as weekly tennis lessons to find something outside of motherhood that was solely ours to my incredible friend and co-found , Nathalia Castellon, and i sharing a vision to bring the focus back to moms. Creating a space where wellness is not scary, workouts are not intimidating, there is no judgement, just love, support, and welcoming moms of all ages and stages to feel good in there bodies and take care of themselves.
So, from personal struggle to profound healing, from solo entrepreneurship to community building, my path has been guided by a deep belief in the power of breath and an unwavering desire to empower others to heal, grow, and live authentically in their purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. The journey of building something meaningful from the ground up was harder than I had ever anticipated.
Motherhood, while the most profound joy of my life, has undeniably presented its own set of unique hurdles. Experiencing two pregnancies within three years meant pressing pause, taking necessary steps back to nurture these precious new lives. Reaching extreme burnout while trying to care for a family but feeling pressured to KEEP GOING. Each time, it felt like restarting in some ways, rebuilding momentum while navigating the all-consuming demands of early parenthood. The exhaustion and hormonal shifts of the postpartum period added layers of complexity, sometimes making it feel impossible to focus on anything beyond simply surviving the day.
Burnout has been a very real companion at times. Pouring so much of myself into supporting others, coupled with the relentless demands of motherhood and building a business, has led to periods of extreme depletion. I’ve had to learn the difficult but crucial lesson of stepping back, of honoring my need for rest and recalibration, even when it felt like the world wouldn’t stop spinning. My husband is my rock and has already encouraged me to keep going and has supported me endlessly. Without him, I would be where I am today.
Financially, the journey has been a rollercoaster. I’ve experienced months of abundance that surpassed my wildest dreams, moments where I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and possibility. But those highs have been balanced by periods of intense financial uncertainty, weeks where the future felt precarious and the weight of responsibility pressed heavily. The contrast between inspired creation and the stark reality of scarcity can be incredibly challenging, testing your faith and resilience.
Emotionally and mentally, the growth has been equally turbulent. I’ve swung from feeling deeply inspired and creatively energized to hitting brick walls of self-doubt and feeling utterly blocked. There have been days filled with unwavering confidence, a clear sense of purpose, followed by periods of intense questioning – ‘Who am I to do this? Can I truly make a difference?’ The imposter syndrome has reared its head more times than I can count, whispering doubts and fueling insecurity.
And then there’s the weight of life’s unexpected blows. Even as I was building this vision, I was navigating profound personal grief. The delayed impact of my mother’s passing, coupled with a wave of subsequent family deaths, brought a new depth of emotional processing that I hadn’t anticipated. Postpartum depression, which i did not experience with my first born was incredibly defeating, adding another layer to an already complex chapter. There were days when the weight felt unbearable, when the desire to simply give up felt overwhelming.
But in those darkest moments, it was always the breath that pulled me back. It was what i called coming home, the gentle reminder of life continuing and having purpose. Even on the days when I was ready to throw in the towel, a conscious breath would bring a heightened state of clarity, a subtle nudge to keep going. I knew, deep down, that my impact wasn’t finished, that my personal growth was still unfolding.
This journey, with all its highs and lows, has undeniably shaped me. It has forced me to cultivate a deeper resilience, a greater capacity for empathy, and an unwavering belief in the power of the human spirit to heal and rise. It has made me a better mother, wife, friend, sister, daughter, community leader, and coach. The challenges haven’t broken me; they’ve forged a deeper understanding and a more profound commitment to the work I do. The whirlwind continues, but now I navigate it with a greater sense of self-compassion and an unwavering trust in the process.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At my core, I am a Certified HypnoBreathwork Coach and the founder of Flow with Lo, and co-founder of the Wellness Mom Club. My work centers around guiding individuals to unlock their innate healing potential through the powerful synergy of intentional breathwork and the subconscious mind.
I specialize in helping people get to the root of their undissolved emotions, limiting beliefs, and old wounds. I create a safe and transformative space for them to release what no longer serves them, allowing them to step into a life aligned with their deepest desires and truest selves. My approach isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about fostering sustainable inner shifts that lead to lasting external change.
I’m becoming known for my deeply empathetic and intuitive approach. My own journey through significant mental health challenges, profound grief, and major life transitions provides a unique lens through which I connect with my clients and community. I’m told I have a way of making complex emotional landscapes feel less daunting, offering practical tools and unwavering support to navigate them. People often say they feel truly seen and understood in our work together. I believe in my clients and community with every cell in my body.
My mission is to empower individuals to heal in order to grow. Through my signature 1:1 coaching program, ILLUMINATE, and now through the expanding community of The Breath Club, I guide people through a process that combines:
Breathwork: Utilizing various conscious breathing techniques to release suppressed emotions, stagnant energy, and reduce stress and anxiety, while enhancing clarity and vitality.
Hypnosis: Gently accessing the subconscious mind to reprogram outdated beliefs and unlock new, empowering perspectives.
Visioning: Guiding clients to connect with their future selves, creating a compelling blueprint for their desired life.
Intuitive Action: Bridging the gap between inner transformation and outer reality, empowering clients to take bold, aligned steps in their personal and professional lives.
What am I most proud of? It’s witnessing the profound transformations in my clients and community. Seeing someone break free from years of crippling anxiety, step into their authentic power after a lifetime of self-doubt, or rediscover joy after deep grief – those are the moments that fuel my soul and reaffirm the power of this work. The courage and resilience I see in the individuals I guide are truly awe-inspiring.
What sets me apart? I believe it’s a combination of my personal lived experience, my intuitive gifts, and my approach and desire to genuinely have everyone in my world shine from the inside out. I don’t just teach techniques; I walk alongside my clients, offering genuine empathy and unwavering belief in their capacity to heal and to reach new heights, the ones they truly deserve. I am my clients biggest cheerleader. I want to see them win. My background in the fitness world also gives me a unique understanding of the crucial mind-body connection. Furthermore, my vision for building supportive communities like The Breath Club and the Wellness Mom Club with my co-founder, Nathalia Castellon, reflects a deep commitment to collective healing and empowerment. It’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to rise together. Where they feel SAFE and the power of the voice is heard.
