Hi Pita + Johnny, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Haven Photo Booth is a California-based brand on a mission to bring studio-quality photo experiences to everyone—without the hefty price tag. What started with a simple idea during our own wedding planning has grown into a sweet little dream come true. Today, we offer thoughtfully curated photo booth setups and dreamy flower walls to make your special moments extra magical.

Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife duo Johnny and Pita Saldana, Haven Photo Booth is proudly 100% Latino-owned and operated. We’re hands-on in every part of the process—Johnny literally built our booth from scratch, and Pita brings it to life online through social media and content creation.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not! We’ve had to adjust our strategies along the way. One of our biggest challenges has been understanding our client base, figuring out how to market to them effectively, and setting the right price point. Another challenge has been showing the true value of what we offer, because we genuinely provide high-quality, thoughtfully designed experiences that go above and beyond the typical photo booth.

We’ve been impressed with Haven Photo Booth, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Haven Photo Booth started as a love project and has grown into a thriving business we’re so proud of. Every single booking gets our full heart and attention and it shows through our 5-star reviews, returning clients, and word-of-mouth referrals.

We’re excited about the brand we’re building and have big dreams ahead, think event space, photo studio, and more!

What truly sets Haven Photo Booth apart from the rest is the level of service + detail we put into each client experience. Message us at 10 pm or even midnight… we’re probably going to respond (seriously 😅).

We stand by what we offer and only want the best for our clients, from our fluffy 5D floral backdrops to using only professional DSLR cameras, to our free live gallery, and to transforming the photobooth prints into animated GIF’s.

Johnny has a PHD from Youtube University. hahaha
