Conversations with Hot Love

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hot Love

Hi Hot Love, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My love for music began at a young age, around 5 years old. I started actively playing music at about 12 and haven’t stopped since. I learned to play guitar and piano in middle school, using YouTube videos to help and guide me along the way.

I was involved in several music projects that helped shape and develop me into the musician I am today. I enrolled in community college, where I had the privilege of learning from some of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I feel truly blessed and thankful for those experiences

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road has had its fair share of highs and lows. The biggest struggle was finding consistency in my musical projects. I had to take matters into my own hands and do it myself. I enrolled into songwriting, music production and engineering for 4 years to hone my gifts and abilities alongside the technicality of learning why and how music works.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an artist and songwriter.

My proudest accomplishment is my latest release, “Lovesick.” It is the culmination of all the songs I have written, with the strongest four selected from the batch.

I have been writing songs since I was 12 years old—some good, many not so good. I’ve spent years developing my craft, writing songs in my bedroom studio, watching my favorite artists in concert, studying and observing how they moved the audience and performed music to the highest degree. I’ve also spent time talking to friends and fellow musicians, bouncing ideas and concepts back and forth to create great music and art. Nothing else matters to me more than being true to a piece of music.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
trusting my intuition, following my heart, staying true to my inner child, and my vision.
