Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Wolf

Hi Jessica , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been a dancer my entire life. I have had incredible opportunities in my life to book industry jobs and live the dancer dream life. I slowly got more into choreography and directing after I married my high school sweetheart and we started having our children. I have three beautiful blessings. I now own and direct my own elite level training dance facility in Orange County. I have a bachelors degree in dance from Chapman University and a Master of Science in Health and Wellness from the American College of Healthcare Sciences. I love the integration of full body wellness while supporting and training elite level athletes and artists of all ages.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Owning a business is extremely hard. There are a lot of ebb and flows. Some days you feel like you are the ultimate queen and dominating life and the next day you are terrified it is all going to be over. I am thankful for my family and close circle of friends who have held me while I cried a lot over the last three years and also made me laugh to tears of joy too.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have become a nationally ranked choreographer and master teacher. After achieving so many of my performer goals on my “professional dancer checklist”, it has felt incredible to inspire and create on others. Something that sets my choreography apart is I always aim to be an artful storyteller. I look at dance and dancers as if I am creating pictures in real life. I want to take the audience on a visceral journey when they watch my work. I want to tap into them. Their hearts, mind, humor, soul. I always want my work to feel like a human experience.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I have a deep love for animals, to the level that I have visions of having a farm connected to our dance facility.
