Hi Czar, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
DJ Czar love for the dance community started since his high school days, where he distributed flyers for iconic raves like Juju Beats and Nocturnal Wonderland.

Over the years, he took on the role of producer for various clubs and underground raves across Southern California, including locations in Orange County, Long Beach, and Los Angeles. While maintaining a fresh and underground vibe, he was part of Brighter days where he booked talent such as Ultra Nate. He had an ongoing pool party at the Godfrey Hotel in Hollywood.

He had the privilege of being taught and mentored by DJ Irene thru her music Program at LA Colleges. He has DJ in clubs and the underground warehouse scene thru out the city of Angels. He has also played at Winter Party in bend Oregon and the LA/Weho Pride Parades.

Czar’s passion for house, techno, and disco is always evident in his sets.

He has shared the Bill with notable artists such as Ultra Naté, Masha Mar, Colored Craig, Derek Montero, and Honeyluv.

Czar’s mission is to keep dance floors energized and buzzing with excitement around the globe promoting the love of house music.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Becoming a DJ or promoter isn’t as glamorous as it seems from the outside. It’s definitely not a job for the faint-hearted! The journey is filled with highs and lows, triumphs and setbacks, all of which contribute to your personal growth. Like any artist, a DJ’s journey is never truly complete; there’s always room for evolution and learning. The real challenge lies in staying relevant and dedicated to your craft through consistent practice and commitment. During the inevitable ups and downs, I remind myself of my passion for music, which keeps me motivated.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a DJ, I focus on creating an immersive musical experience that resonates with the audience. My work involves selecting and mixing tracks, reading the crowd, and curating a set that flows seamlessly to keep energy levels high. sexy, and maintain engagement.

Here’s a bit more detail on what I do and what sets me apart:
I spend a significant amount of time digging for tracks, remixing, and staying updated on the latest trends in various genres to keep my sets fresh. I have a soundcloud called listen to the Future . In order to write current remixes you have to have heard and done your homework with the past.

I specialize in blending different genres, tempos, and styles, ensuring smooth transitions that enhance the overall experience. I have played at all types of clubs. Reading a room is very important to me.

During events, I engage with the audience, adjusting my set based on their energy and reactions.

I specialize in a playing for the crown while adding my personal touch that hopefully made that persons day better .

I take pride in the connections I build with my audience. There’s nothing quite like seeing people come alive on the dance floor, and knowing that my music played a role in that experience. Additionally, I’m proud of my ability to adapt and innovate, whether through original productions, remixes, or unique mashups that surprise and delight listeners.

I strive to personalize my sets for each event, taking into consideration the venue, audience demographics, and the overall vibe, which creates a unique experience each time. Storytelling Through Music ! is the hardest thing a Dj can achieve. I approach my sets as a narrative, taking the audience on a journey rather than just playing a series of songs. Overall, my mission is to create unforgettable moments through music, build community, and showcase latin excellence!

I believe that every DJ has the power to inspire and uplift through their art.

Risk-taking as a DJ is a vital aspect of creating memorable and impactful performances.

I strive to create unique and exciting soundscapes, surprising the audience and keeping them engaged.

Risk taking also takes place on how you come across social media. Be yourself , Stand up for causes, go all out with fashion. We are in an era where people are searching for connectivity yet we are the most connected any society has ever been.
