Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Soghomon

Hi Rob, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a thing for sports cars ever since I was a little kid. Fast cars have always been my jam. The thrill of speed really gets my heart pumping. Then, in 2016, I went on a camping trip that sparked my interest in getting a 4 x 4 vehicle for off-roading adventures. I spent a lot of time researching and debating between a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford Raptor truck. Surprisingly, I ended up choosing the Jeep Wrangler because of the endless customization options it offers. In 2017, I finally got my hands on a four-door Jeep Wrangler and it’s been a blast ever since!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When I got my first Jeep Wrangler, I had no idea about offloading and customizing for being capable to drive in off roads. I remember I was doing a research on Facebook to see if there are any Jeep related groups or pages that I could follow and learn more about the Jeep community and I came across to monthly Jeep meats where it was hosted in Long Beach I intended to the Jeep meet and they were required. A few jeeps there were already built, and I started attending to the Jeep meet every month and meeting new people and checking out new builds and learning more about offloading and my first off-road trail was in Azusa, which doesn’t really consider an actual offloading trail. It’s more muddying so I learned the differences between different terrian.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started my Instagram page LosAngelesJeep back in May 2019. I wanted to share my journey, modifications, and adventures with others. It was a fun hobby creating content with my smartphone at first, but as my page grew and I started getting sponsorships, I decided to invest in a digital camera. This was a game changer for the quality of my posts. I even took editing courses to improve my content. What started as a hobby has now turned into a business that I absolutely love.

What’s next?
Having a 4 x 4 vehicle opens up endless possibilities for exciting road trips and exploring new places across the country. Building a Jeep Wrangler allows for limitless customization, ensuring that your adventure never has to end. My goal is to discover hidden gems and visit places that few have ever seen before.
