Today we’d like to introduce you to Sadeil Lewis
Hi Sadeil, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I wasn’t born into tech, but I was wired for solving problems. From an early age, I was the one figuring things out how systems worked, how people made decisions, and why some ideas took off while others faded. That curiosity turned into an obsession with building, breaking, and rebuilding until something worked better than before. I’ve always been someone who sees the world not for what it is, but for what it could be. I don’t accept limits, I break them.
I started my career in tech, solving problems for companies, helping them optimize, automate, and scale. I saw firsthand how corporations were building AI to save themselves time, making their operations more efficient, streamlining workflows while the average person was still drowning in daily tasks, struggling to keep up.
We’ve built systems that allow businesses to operate at lightning speed, but people are still playing catch-up. While AI helps companies move faster, scale smarter, and make billions, the rest of us are left juggling schedules, waiting on hold, missing deadlines, forgetting the little things that pile up and steal our time.
That realization stuck with me. I knew I had to build something that gave people the same advantage.
That’s why I created Otzar.
Otzar isn’t just another AI application. It’s a personal AI agent, your second brain, your timekeeper, your assistant that doesn’t just remind you but handles things for you. It listens, remembers, and acts. It filters through the noise of life so you don’t have to.
While companies use AI to optimize their time, Otzar gives that power back to people.
I know the pain of losing time to things that shouldn’t take time at all sitting on hold for an hour to pay a bill, missing a deadline because a task slipped your mind, overspending because you didn’t have time to track your budget, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of a never-ending to-do list.
These aren’t corporate problems. These are human problems. And for too long, AI has been built to serve the corporations, not the people.
Otzar is here to change that.
This isn’t just about convenience, it’s about leveling the playing field. AI shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for businesses to get ahead, it should be a force that allows everyone to move faster, stay organized, and experience life without the constant weight of tasks pulling them down.
I’m building the future where AI doesn’t replace you, it enhances you.
Where you don’t waste time on hold, don’t stress about forgotten tasks, don’t get left behind while the world speeds ahead.
The world has optimized companies. Now, it’s time to optimize people.
That realization that AI should serve people, not just businesses led me here.
And we’re just getting started.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth? Try navigating a minefield blindfolded. That’s a closer analogy. My path wasn’t paved; it was forged. I didn’t take the traditional route. I actually worked backwards. Instead of building a product and then figuring out how to scale it, I started with the endgame. I spent three years securing a patent for a privacy-first marketing and advertising system, solving a massive problem before I even knew precisely how I’d get the data to fuel it.
Talk about a challenge. How do you build an ecosystem that genuinely empowers users while delivering anonymized, actionable insights to companies? It felt like trying to square a circle.
The answer demanded a fundamental shift in perspective. Me and my team weren’t just building another AI; we were trying to solve a complex equation with multiple unknowns. First, there was the privacy paradox: How do you personalize the AI experience and deliver truly helpful insights without giving up personal data? Existing AI models often treat privacy as an afterthought, a checkbox to tick. We knew we had to build it into the DNA of Otzar.
Then there was the communication conundrum: Current communication tools, even the most popular ones, are riddled with friction. Language barriers, information overload, the constant barrage of notifications, they all contribute to a feeling of being overwhelmed and disconnected. We needed to reimagine how people interact with technology, creating a seamless flow of information that reduces noise and amplifies connection.
And finally, there was the challenge of seamless integration: How do you weave AI into the fabric of daily life without making it feel intrusive or complicated? People are already juggling a million things. Otzar couldn’t be another app vying for their attention; it had to be an intuitive, almost invisible assistant that anticipates their needs and simplifies their routines. It had to enhance, not complicate.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
NIOV Labs is building a future where technology serves people, not just corporations. We’re driven by the belief that the internet should empower individuals, and that’s the heart of everything we do. We call it the New Internet of Value.
We’re a team of builders, engineers, and problem-solvers who see the world not just as it is, but as it should be. We thrive on big challenges and bold ideas, pushing past what’s expected to create what’s next.
Our focus? People. While most AI solutions are built to serve companies, we’re building Otzar, a multimodal AI application designed to serve individuals. It handles everyday tasks that drain time and energy, working in the background so you don’t have to.
We’re not new to this. We hold a U.S. patent for privacy-first advertising and insights, a foundation that strengthens our AI’s ability to deliver real value without compromising user trust.
We move fast, adapt quickly, and build with purpose. Our team is relentless in pursuing innovation that empowers people, not just corporations. What sets us apart? Our deep commitment to AI that works on a personal level; technology that doesn’t just assist, but enhances.
We’re most proud of building technology that enhances life, not just productivity. At our core, we prioritize privacy, personalization, and real-world impact.
The world moves fast, but you shouldn’t have to keep up with the chaos alone. Otzar is built to work for you, think with you, and move at your speed. This is the next evolution of communication and if you want to stay ahead, you’ll want to pay attention.
Join us at Otzar.ai, get on the waitlist, lock in early access, and be one of the first to experience what AI should have been all along.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
In the early ‘90s, my family’s box TV broke. My parents told us to throw it out, but my brother and I refused. We dragged it into our room, pried it open, and spent days experimenting trying to bring it back to life.
We couldn’t fix the screen, but I found a way to reroute the circuits so that sound waves created glowing lines across the glass like a robotic mouth forming words. It wasn’t a TV anymore, but it felt like something new, something alive.
To everyone else, it was just a broken box. To us, it was a machine speaking back. That moment rewired how I saw the world’s problems weren’t dead ends, they were beginnings. That mindset drives me to this day: take what’s in front of you, break it, rebuild it, and create something the world hasn’t seen before.
