Hidden Gems: Meet Maria Freeman of Mariafreeman.com

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Freeman

Hi Maria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Maria Freeman, and I am a Hollywood Hypnotherapist and Holistic Coach based in Los Angeles. A few years ago, I invented the “Eraser” technique, which has helped thousands of people break free from inner barriers and limitations, paving the way for success in various areas of their lives: career, relationships, and well-being.

While most of my current clients are musicians, artists, and entrepreneurs from Los Angeles and across the globe, I wouldn’t consider myself just a hypnotherapist. I wear many different hats: I am also an artist, filmmaker, author, and entrepreneur. Yet every single project I create is aimed at the highest good of others and the expansion of their consciousness. My mission is to help people reconnect with their most authentic selves, step into their power, and thrive.

My journey began in Moscow, Russia, and started from my own mess. In my life, I’ve overcome significant challenges—emotional, physical, and financial abuse, domestic violence, CPTSD, PTSD, depression, addiction, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, self-harm, and a long list of limiting beliefs, traumas, and subconscious blockages. This is a bouquet of issues that would make any therapist ask, “How did you even survive?”

I survived, and I thrive because, instead of giving up, I chose to make my mess my message. I truly believe this is my mission on Earth—transforming myself and helping others do the same. I work for results because it’s personal. I help people heal because I once felt like a blind kitten—lost, uncertain, and in tremendous pain. All of the challenges I’ve faced allow me to empathize with and understand my clients on a deep level.

I spent over a decade on my personal healing journey and research. I traveled nonstop for two years, studying and attending various trainings and events, working with different healers, mentors, and therapists, and exploring all kinds of scientific, holistic, and spiritual approaches in different parts of the world. I became certified as an internationally accredited Hypnotherapist, CBT, and Trauma Recovery Practitioner, which led to the creation of my own technique, the Eraser Technique.

The Eraser Technique allows you to remove any subconscious blockages, limitations, and trauma rapidly and effectively. And for the past 6.5 years (5 of which have been in LA), I’ve been helping people overcome their inner barriers, find their life purpose, expand, and thrive using my technique and other holistic methods.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well, my whole journey has been a journey of overcoming. I came to the U.S. only five years ago, and I was barely speaking English, had no connections, no friends, and no support from my family. I was always an outsider, and the only thing that saved my sanity was the fact that I was always embracing it. Some inner force was always guiding me toward expansion, healing, and creative solutions for my life.

For example, when I had to learn English, I started rewiring my subconscious mind to feel as if I were American. In just six months, I was already able to hold conversations, network, build connections and even make friends. A year later, I became fluent. When I had to prepare for my first group session, I had to overcome my social anxiety, so I did three sessions of the Eraser Technique, and now it’s gone for good.

There have been so many obstacles, challenges, and even traumatizing events in my life, even after moving to Los Angeles, that it would be ridiculous to try to count them all. But what I can say for sure is that there is absolutely nothing that has happened to me that I haven’t been able to overcome, gain wisdom from, and ultimately turn around into something empowering. And with that make my mess my message.

We’ve been impressed with Mariafreeman.com, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At the heart of my practice is my desire to deliver the fastest results using the most effective holistic methods.
On my website, mariafreeman.com, you can explore multiple ways to support your personal transformation and healing:

Additionally, I offer a mini e-book and a free masterclass, where you can learn more about my journey and the Eraser technique.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risk-taking is a necessary component of success in any area of your life. In my own journey, I’ve been put in situations multiple times where I had to take risks just to survive, so over time, it became a habit. I actually feel uncomfortable when I’m in my comfort zone. On the flip side, every risk you take comes with a reward.

And I understand, sometimes taking a risk can feel paralyzing and terrifying. For moments like this, I normally use the Eraser technique: I identify the core issue causing this fear, erase it, and install a new program into your subconscious.
Once you learn how to exercise your mind, nothing is impossible.

And yes, I believe it’s important to be reasonable and assess your risks.
Yet, the simple truth is this: you can do nothing and receive nothing, or you can take a risk, and the worst-case scenario is that you’ll learn a valuable lesson. You can never truly lose or fail—you can only learn, evolve or make a joke out of any given situation. Which means in most cases “risk” is just an illusion. Illusion, that may create a great story or even a comedy. It’s all about perception, isn’t it?
