Community Highlights: Meet Gohar Hakobyan of Graise Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gohar Hakobyan

Hi Gohar, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Since I can remember, I’ve been passionate about the intersection of science and beauty. Growing up, I was inspired by the dedication and hard work of my family, many of whom were in the nursing profession. My love for makeup and skincare pushed me to explore how I could combine my passion for beauty with a career in healthcare.

After becoming a nurse, I knew I wanted to work in aesthetics and eventually found my way into the field. I gained valuable experience working in a plastic surgery practice, where I refined my skills and developed an eye for natural, balanced results. After years of learning from incredible mentors, I decided to take the leap and open my own practice, Graise Aesthetics, to help others feel confident and empowered with natural, timeless results.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge has shaped me into who I am today. One of the biggest struggles was overcoming self-doubt as I transitioned into aesthetic nursing. It was difficult to push past my own uncertainties, but I stayed focused on my goals and surrounded myself with supportive mentors who believed in my vision.

Another challenge was navigating the transition from working for others to starting my own practice. Building Graise Aesthetics from the ground up has required learning about business ownership, balancing creativity with strategy, and stepping out of my comfort zone in ways I hadn’t imagined. While it’s been challenging, it’s also been incredibly rewarding to see my vision come to life.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Graise Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics practice dedicated to helping patients feel confident, empowered, and naturally beautiful. We specialize in treatments like neurotoxins, fillers, advanced skin therapies, and regenerative treatments that focus on enhancing natural beauty while maintaining balance and harmony.

What sets Graise Aesthetics apart is our commitment to personalized care and a natural-forward approach. Each treatment is carefully tailored to the client’s individual goals, emphasizing subtle enhancements rather than dramatic changes. Our focus is on helping clients look refreshed and confident, not overdone.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the experience we offer. From the moment a patient walks through our doors, they’re met with a serene, welcoming environment designed to make them feel at ease. Every detail, from the décor to the treatments, is curated to provide an elevated and luxurious experience that doesn’t feel intimidating or clinical.

For readers, I’d want them to know that Graise Aesthetics is more than a place to get treatments – it’s a space where they can feel supported on their beauty journey. Whether they’re coming in for preventative treatments, refining their features, or addressing specific concerns, they can trust that our approach is rooted in care, artistry, and expertise.

How do you define success?
I define success as creating a meaningful impact – whether it’s helping patients feel more confident in their skin, building strong relationships, or contributing to a sense of community. Success, to me, isn’t just about numbers or achievements; it’s about the moments when a patient leaves feeling empowered and happy with their results, or when they trust me enough to come back time and time again.

On a personal level, success means staying true to my vision while continuing to grow, learn, and evolve. It’s about finding balance between my professional goals and my personal life and knowing that the work I do is both fulfilling and aligned with my values.
