Community Highlights: Meet Alexa Archibald of Charm Lane

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexa Archibald

Hi Alexa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I run a grandmillennial style website founded in 2023, but originally worked in fashion at the corporate offices of well-known preppy brands such as Lilly Pulitzer and J.Crew. I spent the last seven years working in tech and now combine all of my experiences to run Charm Lane.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I started Charm Lane while 9 months pregnant and on maternity leave from Facebook. I very quickly realized that working on my own business fully fueled me and made it my goal to take it full-time and invest in building something unique. I’ve been learning every day, but have always remained focused on the long-term strategy and providing value to those who adore the grandmillennial aesthetic.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Charm Lane is a grandmillennial brand – highlighting the charming aesthetic from preppy hobbies to coastal grandmillennial decor to classic style fashion. I am so proud of what Charm Lane has grown to in such a short time and I see it becoming the go-to destination for daily inspiration for anyone who loves all things chinoiserie chic.

How do you think about happiness?
I love spending time with my little growing family and having a business like Charm Lane allows me that full flexibility and creativity. Being able to build something I am so passionate about while also getting to see my little ones grow is truly the dream! I am very mindful of how I spend my time because it’s the only resource you can’t earn more of. I almost ruthlessly analyze how I’m filling my days because to me – spending time with the people I love is the most important thing and is what fuels me!
