What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on. We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

Juan Gollaz

The project I’m working the most is myself. I believe that a constant improvement of one self spiritual, physical and emotional is important to bring the best of people around you and create a better place for the present we are living and future generations. A project I am fully committed to, no matter how long it takes, is the Russian espionage story I have been developing for the past year. This is a project that has tested my patience, creativity and discipline more than anything I have written before. I’m really committed to helping people check their cognitive distortions (or false thoughts) and speak more openly with each other, especially in today’s climate, where opinions can feel so divided.
