Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawna Allard.
Hi Shawna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was a young child of two when I first left my body and spent time with the angels. This was during a traumatic situation. I had other experiences of intuition and of Holy Spirit but as a child never realized I was gifted with intuition. At age nine, I realized that not everyone saw the aura and “some people” could see these special lights and glow around others. In my early 30’s I had a very special spiritual experience that changed my life. I experienced a profound experience and my intuitive skills became something so much more. Since then, I was knowing more about others than I asked for and eventually was told by Spirit, “we can talk through you if you will allow it.”
I have been serving as the voice of Divine for over three decades as a psychic medium and intuitive channel. As well as my Spiritual counseling, I am an award-winning author and public speaker. I began the Divine Knowing Institute to educate as many seekers as possible about how they can also learn to be intuitive.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been very smooth. I began with $45 investment in a tape recorder. I was at the time a single mother working as an accountant. There were many life struggles but none with business. As my business grew, I made a leap of faith to quit my very secure job and depend only on my psychic business for my income. As a single mother of 2 babies with no child support coming in, this was a very bold move. I have enjoyed every minute of working with others to help them achieve their dreams.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am unique in that I am gifted rather than trained. I do give credit to Holy Spirit who trained me. I do not use Tarot cards or props of any kind. In fact, my eyes are closed during my session “readings.” as I channel the words, images and feelings that come through for my clients. I specialize inaccurate insights and wisdom that changes lives for the better. I am proud that my readings are helpful and positive. I have unfortunately heard from my clients of some very scary information and manipulations.
I am very proud to be an award-winning and published author of the book KNOWING. I am very proud of the book it’s self for helping so many people.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The world continues to change with people looking for wisdom from Divine Source. Thirty-three years ago, when I began helping others through my gifts, it was not widely accepted. (Before the psychic hotlines began). I am also aware that many more people want to get into what they see as a very lucrative career. This is creating a greater need than ever to know the person you are working with to receive advise. There is also the beautiful emerging of more people being able to follow their personal intuition on a daily basis.
