Today we’d like to introduce you to Jon Chua.
The fashion photographer behind On Location Group began developing film more than 20 years ago. He’s changed with the times, though, mastering digital photography and creating his own unique style using a combination of natural sunlight and a high-end digital studio flash system. He can often be found snapping breathtaking, magazine-quality shots of models on LA rooftops or shooting stills for movie posters. He prides himself on making clients look their best, and to achieve this goal, he maintains a network of professional stylists and hair and makeup artists.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a long and winding road and there are clients who are hard to please.
Besides being an artist, photographers also need fantastic customer service skills.
