Rising Stars: Meet Vivianne Taylor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vivianne Taylor.

Hi Vivianne, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up loving movies from the 1930’s and ’40s. I moved to LA when I was 16 to pursue a career in acting. A couple of years later, I graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Of course, I expected there to be a lot of rejection, so when it came, I took it in stride. I also found two new outlets to perform along the way, burlesque and party princessing. Getting to play all my favorite princesses from when I was growing up was a dream come true. Another passion of mine is opera, which I’m currently getting my master’s degree in.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in vintage-style hair and makeup, and my heroines are all silver screen icons from the 1920-40’s. Some favorites include Clara Bow, Jean Harlow, Rita Hayworth, Vivien Leigh, and of course, Marilyn. I’d love to play one of them in a biopic.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
My main job is playing all the Disney princesses from the olden days.
