Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My sister and I have always loved makeup! We always struggled finding colors and products that we like so we decided to make our own line of makeup that is clean beauty! We launched in 2020, which was right when the pandemic happened so we have not had success with selling, but we try to keep the quantity of products we have to a minimum to avoid waste! We go to small business markets to promote our brand, and we recently had a big Collab with a brand called “glow addict” where they put our makeup in their subscription box!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Some of the struggles started in the pandemic because we couldn’t find what we wanted, and nobody was buying lipsticks at the time, so we sold our lipsticks with the slogan “matte liquid lipsticks that don’t stain your mask” Also, my sister and I both work so it’s hard trying to find time to meet up and stay consistent but we keep going every day! And glory to God that we are motivated to keep going!

My sister and I are owners of our small business STARGIRL beauty It is a makeup brand for the minimalist and the Maximalist we believe in clean makeup for all!
