Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Elkhaldy.
Hi Sarah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got into the esoteric sciences when I was 17. It started when I was involved with a 4th-way group that was also deep into spiritual ascension, mysticism, and fringe topics. After I felt I had outgrown my peers, I left the group and began studying under a shaman who I was receiving energy work from at that time. I’ve never had a normal problem in my whole life. All of my problems were existential in nature. At one point I was stressed out for six months because I couldn’t decide whether or not I should take my chakras out. I ended up deciding to keep them simply because I wanted to make peace with my human experience. I started an Instagram account as soon as the app came out and began sharing long excerpts from all of the branches of esotericism that I had been learning. Everything from arcane alchemical material, eastern and western branches of mysticism, Gurdjieff’s 4th-way teachings, and Jungian psychology to new age channeled information, I never saw a larger vision for my page other than just sharing the knowledge I felt was very important to disseminate. I did not realize that my page would end up becoming a vital resource and doorway for many going through a spiritual awakening. It started out just as an aesthetically pleasing means for me to organize and curate my own journey, and to even help me process it all. It has unfolded into something much larger now.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing about my path has been smooth. The main struggles I had during the brunt of my highly unconventional journey was financial instability and multiple autoimmune conditions that I have slowly healed. Now one of the biggest struggles I currently face is just being a lesbian spiritual teacher.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a mystic, energy healer, and spiritual teacher. I specialize in assisting others through a spiritual awakening and helping them embody their Higher Self. I am known for my videos on YouTube that provide guidance through spiritual awakenings. I am most proud of my videos because I put an enormous amount of life force and energy into each episode. My videos are a labor of love. I am involved in the entire process of them and am immensely proud of the content I put out. The main thing that sets me apart from others is the amount of energy I put into creating my content. Although my videos are of me teaching, I consider it my art, and I treat the whole process as though I’m making art. For that reason, I approach the process of making a video as though it is an important topic in a vault collection, and I treat my work as such. My viewers do not get the same old basic information that is recycled until ad infinitum. I look at the information I share for each video from the perspective of what has not yet been known about the topic? I’m always looking for where to enhance light, rather than what is the most popular information to circulate.
