Hi Santana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
What’s up, I hope all is well with y’all. Thank you for having me be a part of this, I greatly appreciate it. My name is Santana and I am a DJ and serial entrepreneur based out of Northern Ca – Sacramento to be exact. I got started in my craft as a DJ when I was a young hooligan and through consistency and hard work, I have been blessed with opportunities along my journey that have allowed me to remain professionally involved almost 2 decades later.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, it hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I also believe you don’t deserve anything you don’t work hard for, In my opinion, most of the struggles came from battles with one self, being your biggest critic. I think once you’re able to come to terms that you, yourself, are what’s holding you back – it can be easy to maneuver through that and push a hard line in your craft.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a professional DJ. I specialize in gauging an audience and being able to mold the listening experience to fit exactly what the occasion requires. In my opinion, what has assisted me the most in being able to be consistently sought out for, has been my ability to bring life to whatever I am involved in. The ability to learn from all experiences and adjust when needed has been crucial in my growing success as well.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I think what’s most surprising is how long I have been involved in my craft. At this point, it’s been more than over half of my life and I think most folks get caught off guard by that.
