Hi Patty, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
First of all, i love Trader Joe’s and love photography. In the winter of 2018 I was going through some hard personal times and decided to start this page about new finds at Trader Joe’s. Let end behold it sparked some creative juices in me and brought joy in a dark time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been some bumps in the road. Social media often feels like a highlight reel, where everything is meticulously curated for likes and follows. But I chose a different path—I chose to be real, even when that rubbed some people the wrong way. Sure, hurtful comments can sting, but the truth is, you can’t please everyone. What matters most is staying true to who you are. Authenticity might not be for everyone, but it’s for you. And that’s more powerful than any filtered version of life.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a accounting manager with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and data analysis. My goal is to help organizations streamline their financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive growth through accurate, insightful financial data. I enjoy digging into the details to solve complex problems and provide the financial clarity businesses need to make informed decisions.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
There’s nothing that brings me more joy than seeing someone smile because of something I did. It’s such a simple thing, but knowing I’ve brightened someone’s day, even in a small way, makes everything worthwhile. That’s what keeps me going—spreading a little happiness wherever I can. In terms of activities, traveling, photography and food brings me joy.
