Rising Stars: Meet Nina-Marie Daniele

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nina-Marie Daniele.

Hi Nina-Marie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started as a model! I’ve been modeling for 11 years but I’ve always enjoyed comedy and making people laugh. I found more enjoyment in satisfaction in creating funny videos and being more engaging on social media than I found in modeling professionally so I gradually transitioned into skits and sketches. I studied acting for a while, improv, drama and specifically sitcom which is my favorite. I moved from NYC to LA two and a half years ago and started collaborating with people who were creating content like me and the rest is history!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think anything I’ve ever tried to do in my life has been smooth 🤣 but I believe, because I worked for everything I have, I’ve never underestimated the amount of work necessary to find success in my craft. I also have a lot of admiration and respect for creators because it’s not as easy as people make it seem. The viewer only sees the final product and not the energy, time and all the fails, trials and tribulations that went into the product that is anywhere between 6 seconds to minutes long or even hours! It’s a lot! As for struggles, I mean where do I start! 🤣 but one of the hardest things is not allowing people to dictate your craft and guide your path. You have to take control and decide what’s best for you, the people who understand you and engage and relate to what you put into the world will find you and appreciate you. If you constantly change yourself and your product to fit the narrative people want to see, you’re destined to be a product of the internet and it’s very easy to get swept up in the hype and then left behind. Once you decide what your want out of your life, you will attract that same energy. One of the struggles that come with this is battling time, but all good things take time and like mama always says, Rome wasn’t built in a day and if it was easy everybody could do it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a content creator! Specifically comedy! I’m not sure what I’m known for, haha. I feel like I wear many hats and if you ask someone that’s watched my journey, they’d tell you I’ve had nine lives 🤣 I’m just proud that I chose to wake up every day to do something I love doing. I don’t answer to anyone but myself even though that in itself can be stressful considering we are our worst critics, at the end of the day, I can truly say I’m happy. I don’t know what sets me apart. I couldn’t tell ya! I just do me and keep it moving, haha.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
To be honest, I don’t listen to many podcasts or use apps for anything as a resource but I do admire Gary Vee and his drive, motivation and his message. He’s built an empire and really believes in himself, his people and wants to push people to better themselves and become what they’ve always wanted to be. I respect that!
