Hi Nancy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business back in 2018 out of necessity, as a single mother with a young child to care for. It was an incredibly challenging time, but my determination to succeed kept me going. I began in a small office in the city of Ontario, working from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day. Whether it was posting on social media, passing out flyers, or calling potential clients, I was fully committed to making my business grow. I knew I had to move fast and efficiently because I had a little mouth to feed, and failure wasn’t an option. Today, I’m proud to have turned those long hours into a thriving business, built from the ground up with passion and persistence.
After many years of dedication, I’m grateful to have become a leader in the trucking industry, where we specialize in helping truckers start their own businesses. One of the most important aspects of our work is providing financial literacy information to a community that often lacks access to these essential resources. It’s truly my pleasure to teach my clients how to establish their businesses, open bank accounts, build and repair their credit, and navigate the complex world of entrepreneurship.
We also assist with obtaining trucking permits and plates. One of our greatest advantages is our partnership with the DMV, which allows us to provide services that are not widely accessible. I had the privilege of attending a week-long training at DMV headquarters in Sacramento to gain access to a specialized system that enables us to issue trucking plates for crossing state lines within 24 hours. This is a huge benefit to our clients, as the standard process can take 30 days or more if they attempt it on their own.
Thanks to this system and the efforts of my amazing team, we’ve been able to achieve great success. I am incredibly proud of the outcome and the positive impact we’re making in the trucking industry.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the biggest challenges I faced were rooted in self-doubt. Running a business 24/7 is something not everyone understands—there’s uncertainty, scarcity, and constant doubt. I often found myself questioning whether I could make it. On top of that, there were people who doubted me, thinking I wouldn’t succeed.
Despite those doubts, both from others and from within, I kept pushing forward. With hard work, persistence, and the support of people who genuinely cared for me, I was able to reach the next level. My son, especially, has been my greatest motivation. His presence in my life drives me to work harder and succeed, no matter the obstacles. Without that determination and the love of those around me, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Ever since I started my business, I’ve always had a knack for creativity—whether it’s being behind the camera, running advertisements, or creating engaging content. I’m naturally artsy, and that’s reflected in my office. When you step into our space, it feels like a gallery, with about 10 wall murals created by local artists. But it’s more than just art on the walls. For Latino Heritage Month, we create special displays like a Mexican Dia de Muertos altar, and for Halloween, the office is transformed with festive decorations.
It’s definitely not your typical office, and that’s what makes it so special. The experience you have here matters just as much as the work we do. Our team is exceptional, and our manager, Miguel, is a genius when it comes to video content creation. We’re all excited for what the future holds, and we’re constantly pushing boundaries to create even more unique and meaningful experiences for our clients.
