Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Wooten.
Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I have kicked out of the house at 18 moved to Atalanta then got had to leave there too moved back to Illinois then work at the post office for 8 years didn’t feel appreciated quit one day and started my photography business. Paid for barber school now I do barber and photography full time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not smooth at all but all a part of the journey. Had some heart breaks friends fall off people used me for their own benefit but I don’t have a backup plan so I made it work.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a barber and photographer! I’m so proud that I can really take care of myself doing what I love to do. My intentions and style set me apart from everyone. Being genuine has really gotten me far.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk-taking is a part of going far in life. Taking risks makes you uncomfortable but that’s not a bad thing. I take risks all the time like quitting my job after 8 years but it worked out now I make more money than I did.
