Hi Luci, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Luci Grisafe is a 17 year old professional actress based in Los Angeles. She began her training at JRS Studios and is currently represented by Smith & Hervey/Grimes Talent Agency and managed by AE Talent Management. She rose to fame on the renowned web series “Changing Lives Productions,” with 20M+ subscribers, and has appeared in several nationally televised commercials, music videos, and short films. She even appeared as a winning contestant on the hit TV Show, Let’s Make A Deal! This exposure has led her to amass more than 10,000 followers on her personal Instagram @lucigrisafe and 2M+ views across all platforms. She continues to progress her skills in the arts and make a name for herself in the industry!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I fell in love with acting from a young age and involved myself in anything and everything I could in the arts—piano lessons, signing lessons, and soon theater productions, especially in school. I never thought I would be able to act on a professional level, but I knew that I wanted to more than anything. I started just by making cold calls to agents—which didn’t work out so well, but I didn’t give up. Soon, after many emails, I got an agent to give me a shot, but was quickly rejected. I hadn’t really felt such a harsh “no” at such a young age and it was hard—little did I know it was just the start. Acting projects anyone with a lot of rejection but it is definitely difficult at first. As I got older and more experienced, and networked, I was able to get signed with 2 representatives, and I am extremely grateful for them. The process of this art has definitely presented me with challenges, but these obstacles have helped me a lot in life. Yes, auditions can be scare and the competitive nature of the industry has gotten to me along the way, but my love of the art, for movies, and the various amazing people I’ve met along the way keep me encouraged to keep on trying my best!

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Watching movies, especially old ones, keep me inspired and enthusiastic about my art! My favorites are: The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, and JFK! I am an avid movie buff and love Scorsese, Spielberg, Tarantino, and Nolan movies! I am constantly inspired by great actors, my favorite being Leonardo DiCaprio, which provide me with innovation and inspiration for my whole life!
