Today we’d like to introduce you to Lap Le.
Hi Lap, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was a self-taught family portraits photographer that saw a need and value of photos with branding at live events.
I had a vision of providing a sophisticated photo experience that focused on the same photo quality a photographer provides.
We initially focused on private parties such as weddings and birthday parties, but through the years, we have moved to focus on working with brands with their experiential marketing campaigns. We deliver bespoke photo and video activations, which is valuable content creation for social media platforms.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges for photo booths is changing how clients view a photo booth. Many years ago, a photo booth was just goofy photos.
For LX PIX, I saw a need for an experience that was appropriate for elevated photo opps, and opted to not focus on silly props and signs but to focus more on an experience for guests.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We grew our product line and offerings to fit our client’s needs. Mosaics, lightpainting, 360 Booths, headshot, mobile portrait studios, custom trading cards, CMYK, interactive video booths, roaming photographers with instant sharing, and glam booth are just a few of our most popular services!
We invest in our team and it shows, as we strive to engage and interact with guests, and we assist guests with posing and composition to capture their best in our photo booths, and we direct guests in our video booths.
We are constantly looking forward to have the ability to bring new experiences and to stay innovative with our service offerings.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I’ve always been fascinated with photography and technology. I loved taking photos with Polaroids and collecting glam shots of friends and family.
It’s been an interesting journey to see these two different loves mesh into a hobby that turned into this amazing company it now is.
