Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Bridges. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Hi Jordan, thank you for sharing your story with me – can you please start by bringing us up to speed on how you got to where you are today, both personally and professionally.
The path to success and personal greatness is going to be widely different and unique to everyone. Both professionally and personally, my achievements can be attested to my optimistic personality and polite professionalism. That is the key for how I got to where I am today. From family & friends to buyers & sellers, I always try to create a relaxing and enjoyable energy around myself. At a young age, I’ve always seen the great value in treating people with respect, working diligently for others, and the ultimate power of “good” customer service or being a “good” friend. That addiction and obsession of helping others has poured into all aspects of my personal life and overflowed into my business life. I’ve been blessed to intertwine both worlds which has organically grown my business, family, and friendships. Looking back on when I started Real Estate with under $2,000 in my account, I’m glad I instilled these values for success.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My love of Real Estate culminated from a family struggle when our house burned downed in 2011. Witnessing the in’s & out’s of restoring the property and having a hands on approach, I saw the real value in homeownership and became enamored with all that the industry has to offer.
Starting out in this full commssion career, I didnt have much money to my name, so it was a big leap of faith jumping into Real Estate wihtout any upcoming sales. I can remember sleeping on the floor of my first studio apartment for two months because I couldn’t afford a mattress. Those stuggles fed my hunger to focus and not fail by any means. So… weekends were sacrificed & spent working, mornings were spent cold-calling, afternoons were spent door-knocking, and hosting open houses & buyer seminars, coffee meet-ups, networking events, every minute of my time was put towards my growth as a realtor. I still follow these same practices and sacrifice my weekends, but closed over $15,000,000 in the first six months of 2021.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a realtor in Los Angeles, this city & market demads the most out of you. I’m typically wearing many hats and constantly multi-tasking through out the day. From writing offers to meeting appraisers, photographers, market research, farming, advertising, listing appointments… time management and consistency is everything.
Currently in our market, we’re faced with the daily struggle of a low housing inventory throughout LA, which makes acquiring listings and purchasing homes much more difficult for realtors. We’ve been extremely creative in our strategies during the competitive Covid-Market frenzy to successfully win & close transactions for our clients.
How do you think about happiness?
Happiness is relaxing in the comfort of your home surrounded by the people you love! I strive to bring that happiness to each and every one of my clients.
