Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennelle Gordon.
Hi Jennelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started as a product of the foster system born out of rape to a minority mother who was a child herself. I suffered physical and sexual abuse as a child at the hands of my stepfather. I was in the custody and warden of the state until I was 24 years old. Poverty was my existence I was placed into an extremist well-meaning religious cult family where things got worse for me as the religious dogma I was in led to more abuse and a poverty stricken life. At the age of 18, I left home with a mental state of 12 years old because of the oppressed way I grew up. I was picked up by four pimps over the course of ten years. I also Had a bought with the military in between where I was medically discharged and left unable to walk due to a spine injury. During this time, my second Pimp picked me up.
Over the next ten years, I was trafficked in Las Vegas Nevada’ and across the globe by a gorilla Pimp that nearly killed me numerous times. I had countless concussions that led me to develop traumatic brain injury and learning disabilities I never had until the head trauma. When I had enough, I decided to fake my own death and escape to an island in Thailand where I could heal and study the ancient practices of Tantra. After deciding I wanted to teach this practice to entrepreneurs, I returned to CA with zero dollars a, a 7th grade education, ten years job history gap and a newborn son to raise alone. After suffering severe postpartum and pTSD, I decided not to go on living anymore. One night a stranger name Tony Robbins responded to my cry for help on social media. He started sending me to his events and supported my work. I began to believe I had the power within me to accomplish anything regardless of my circumstances. I started teaching tantra workshops in OC and then began doing workshops around the world. I also started the first ever human trafficking awareness club on my college campus.
A year later we turned it into a nonprofit and launched at Tony’s business mastery in 2019, we raised 50k in 3 days to support my work in holistically rehabilitating. Victims of HT. I also got asked to do three ted talks around the topic of life after human trafficking. My first one is 12/19 after being postponed due to covid. I also conquered the limiting belief that I am cousins write a book as my TBI hinders me due to dyslexia so I wrote it in one day via speaking it. It’s being published now and is available for sale. I currently reside in NB CA with my almost six years old son. Today I have an online presence and company called the O Factors where I reach entrepreneurs to shake the shame attached to their sexuality and to life the orgasmic life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
TBI no education, no family, no job History, no confidence, PTSD from ten years trafficked, baby Blues postpartum, raising a son alone, welfare mentality, being a sex product and learning how to shift that unworthiness. Constant judgment from public because I was a former trafficked prostitute. Banned on Social media for speaking out against sex trafficking and social media helping it. I was homeless in NB with my newborn. Starting my nonprofit Beyond Freedom with no support because I wasn’t faith-based and chose to help all victims regardless if whether they were religious or not.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is to use Tantra, NLP and Dance Movement Therapy to help entrepreneurs to shake the same attached to their sexuality create a new empowering connection therein. I do this through global Tantra retreats, group coaching, one on one coaching, elite masterminds and online courses. Dance Om is one of my proudest accomplishments as I have worked to create a safe space for women to heal through dancing their shadows and archetypes. What sets me apart is my unique religious dogma background thrown into the adult world of strippers and escorting while trafficking then my unique skill set of Tantra. Basically, I went From God to sex and sex to God. I am also most proud of how I went from product to thriving person in such a short time.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I am not really sure I blocked out most of my past as it was traumatic. I know I was unassuming, insecure, afraid, awkward and a bit unsure. I remember wanting to be a performer, dancer, singer and fashion designer: I was a hopeless romantic. I wanted to believe in love.
